So here we have an article that once again states that getting your blood pumping makes for a healthy brain. What was interesting in this article is that they didn’t see the effects in younger brains, only the older brains. However, lifestyle habits– like exercising– are built when you are young. So I think it is still very important to maintain cardiovascular fitness throughout the lifespan if for no other reason than to prevent your brain from disintegrating when you get old aka get dementia.
