No one wants to talk about it: ICD-10. It’s coming, ready or not, in about a month. What is a therapist to do?
Never fear! WebPT is here with “ICD-10 Bootcamp Webinar!”
Who: PTs, OTs, SLPs who need to be able to code using the new ICD-10 coding system– that’s everyone– and who have been procrastinating figuring ICD-10 out– that would be me and I’m sure I’m not the only one!
What: ICD-10 Boot Camp by WebPT
When: Monday, August 31, 2015, 0900-1000 PDT (If you’re not able to make that time– like me–, they say on the site to go ahead and sign up. You’ll get a recording and the worksheets for practice exercises too.)
Where: Your computer via the World Wide Web
Why: Objectives: You will learn to: incorporate ICD-10 into your patient evaluation process, navigate your way through the ICD-10 code set, code PT, OT, and SLP patient diagnoses to the highest possible level of specificity, use external cause codes to more thoroughly describe a patient’s condition. I don’t see any CCUs assigned to this, but it has objectives, so I’m sure it would be approved if you wanted to apply for it.
How: Follow the link to sign up! It so far appears FREE to me! (I signed myself up too. *womp, womp*)
