I honestly could not find anything interesting that was worth a whole post today. So instead I’ll leave you this short film by Pedro Solis Garcia. I saw this several months ago and I just love it. It’s cute, and a tear jerker, so get your Klennex out. The dialogue is in Spanish, but you don’t need to understand the words to understand what’s going on. Ok, I’ll leave a few bread crumbs that may help a bit. The little girl’s name is Maria and the last bit is a flash forward “20 years later,” in which the hand you see belongs to Maria. But that doesn’t spoil anything. It’s called “Cuerdas” referring to the rope that ties the two friends together.
