Both of these technologies address Parkinson’s tremors which can be so debilitating to everyday life. Because of the tremors, eating can be difficult or impossible. This can lead to malnutrition and chemical imbalances in the body that can be deadly. Besides nutrition, tremors can make mobility difficult as well if a walker or cane is necessary, as it often is in the middle stages of the disease. Tremors also effect a person’s ability to prepare their own meals, perform bathing and grooming activities. Imagine a hot frying pan, a loofah or a tube of lipstick in any of those people’s hands in the videos. Yeah, none of those tasks would work out too well either. These kinds of tech could be game changers.
