Preface: The next CSM session is necessitating some extra synthesizing on my part to make into something useful in this format. Basically, it’s not ready for tonight so, I’ll give you something else instead: a science-y book review! Back to CSM things over the weekend.
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Read this in audiobook format while driving. It isn’t the most enthralling book out there, but I would take a risk in saying it is the most entertaining book on physical science out there! I HATED physics with a passion in school, so I was dreading reading this and was a little worried it might put me to sleep while driving. My worries were unfounded! The absurdity of some of the questions and the heights to which the author takes us to answer the questions really was very engaging, even comical. At points I was literally laughing out loud! My favorite was the bit about a mole of moles. I had contemplated that question myself in chemistry class many moons ago. Overall, a surprisingly good read! This selection was for the Book Riot 2017 Read Harder Challenge.
