Bria Varner, PT, DPT, NCS is an award-winning doctor of physical therapy board certified in neurologic physical therapy practicing in the inpatient rehab setting in north Texas. She holds a certification as a clinical instructor (CI) by the Texas Consortium of Physical Therapy Clinical Education. Bria is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy and the Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA). She also participates as a member of the TPTA PR committee. Bria’s current practice is in general acute rehabilitation; however, she takes pride in her treatment of neurologic conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, brain injury, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, vestibular conditions (vertigo) and central pain disorders. Her other academic interests include health, wellness, fitness, human geography/culture studies and language learning.
Outside of the world of physical therapy, Bria is married to a wonderful man, “G”, entrepreneur, and “mom” to furr baby, Hazel (cat, 5 years old). She pursues her own fitness enjoying trail running, yoga, and Pilates. Bria cares for her community by volunteering through the local Junior League. She also loves reading multiple genres and watching NCIS and Game of Thrones on tv.
