I seek to worship God through using my God-given passions–biological sciences, particularly the human body and how to mold it into the best physical function it can have– and to apply those passions to others, so they can reach their full physical potential and thereby better serve God’s purpose for their own lives.
Bria Varner, PT, DPT, NCS is a doctor of physical therapy board certified in neurologic physical therapy practicing in the inpatient rehab setting in north Texas. She holds a certification as a clinical instructor (CI) by the Texas Consortium of Physical Therapy Clinical Education. Bria is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy and the Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA). She also participates as a member of the TPTA PR committee. Bria’s current practice is in general acute rehabilitation; however, she takes pride in her treatment of neurologic conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, brain injury, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, vestibular conditions and central pain disorders. Her other academic interests include health, wellness, fitness, human geography/culture studies and language learning.
Outside of the world of physical therapy, Bria is married to a wonderful man, “G”, entrepreneur, and “mom” to furr baby, Hazel (cat, 4 years old). She pursues her own fitness enjoying trail running, yoga, Pilates, resistance training and the occasional Zumba or step aerobics class. She is also loves reading multiple genres and watching Reign, NCIS and Game of Thrones on tv.
